My theory on how Angreal were and will be made:

        Angreal are made with both a man and a female linking together and then forming the Angreal.  When an Angreal is made attuned for Saidin, a women must then control the flows.  When the Angreal is to be attuned for Saidar then a man must control the flows.  I feel that this is the way because of several different reasons.  One of those reasons are that none of the Forsaken have made their own Angreal or Sa' Angreal. Also Elayne has tried to make an Angreal and it will not work… Now I know she is not an expert at making Angreal, however she is the best source of information we have to go on.  Mierin, aka Lanfear, also said that when men and women linked the most impressive/ colossal things were accomplished.
